He's sitting on his bed with his back propped against the wall when Ishmael arrives, dressed in similarly plain clothes. His watch has been strapped to his bug arm so he can actually type on the thing.
He offers her a wave with his left hand. In spite of the circumstances, he's still happy to see a familiar face.]
