[ she stands there, stunned, mouth slightly agape. ]

It... really is you.

[ she takes a couple steps forward, and... decides to hang by at the doorjamb. she'll take a seat eventually, just. let her take this all in for a minute. ]

How are you doing? Did anyone hit on you yet? [ going straight to the point as usual, ]

[ LISTEN she just wanted to gauge how much gregor's taking all this. but no, she expected this kind of reaction too. with a sigh, she enters the small capsule room and perches herself on top of the desk. ]

I'd say. I don't recall anything like this in any of the Wings I've read up on in the City so far. Initially I thought this is another Singularity of a Nest's Wing that we weren't made aware of.

But... that couldn't be it. Because the City thrives on human suffering. And this place makes sure that your every want gets catered. Even if we live in the absolute annals of the basement.

[ because while they're not fancy suites, it's still something. definitely beats some aspects of the backstreets, that's for sure. ]

Hah. You really never know in the City. Too much pleasure can also lead to a lot of suffering, I've realized.

[ she would know. crossing her arms together, she huffs out one of her signature sighs. ]

That guy's right. It's a precarious balance. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't given in a couple of times, but... you were there the first time, right?

[ a self-deprecating laugh. ah, the good ol' days at the great lake, when she'd given in to her own bloodlust due to her blind obsession. that felt like eons ago, too. ]

[ at this point she's just so used to gregor and ryoshu's chainsmoking in their cramped af bus, so she'll let him have this one. she will keep the door open though to air that shit out.

she grows silent at gregor's words first, looking out into the corridor. ]

...You said it best, right? You've got to live on like it's nobody's business.

[ she'd called him cruel for that. but back then, she wasn't keen on living at the time. not anymore, though. ]

So you have to keep on at it. At the very least, you won't be doing this weird shit on your own. Like I said, I'll do my best to help.
